Today marked our second full day of mediation with the company, assisted by the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). Throughout the day, we conveyed the priorities of our members to the company via the mediator. Unfortunately, mediation concluded today without reaching any resolution.
The clear message from our members, expressed through their rejection of the company's offer and their vote to strike, has been heard and reinforced by your negotiating team. We continue to prioritize the issues you defined in the most recent survey, yet we are deeply concerned that the company has not addressed your top concerns. No meaningful progress was made during today's talks.
While we remain open to further discussions, whether directly or through mediation, currently, there are no additional dates scheduled. We are fully committed to fighting for the contract our members deserve, and we continue to push forward with the goal of securing the contract our members have earned.
You are the lifeblood of this company. It is your hands that create the product that leaves the factory. You are the legacy of this company. Boeing needs to recognize that.
Now is the moment to make our voices heard louder than ever. Every day on the picket line reminds the company that we will not back down until we secure the contract we deserve. By standing together, we show the world our solidarity is unbreakable.
This is our future, our fight, and your presence on the picket line sends a clear and powerful message that One Day Longer, One Day Stronger isn't just something we say, it's how we live. Your support on the picket line makes all the difference - we started this together, and we will finish it together.
In Unity,
Your Union Negotiating Committee
So much for wanting to get this strike over quickly Mr Ortberg. "Reset the relationship" Your words, not ours. We're waiting for you to bargain in good faith.
