We have recently discovered an error in your 1099 forms for this tax year. Unfortunately, the 1099-NEC forms you received were incorrect and should have been issued as 1099-MISC forms instead.
We would like to provide some clarity regarding the error. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that the incorrect issuance of the 1099-NEC forms was due to an error on ADP's end.
We understand that this mistake may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion or concern it may cause. We are working closely with ADP to ensure that the correct 1099-MISC forms are reissued as promptly as possible.
If you have already filed your taxes using the incorrect form, we recommend consulting with a tax professional to understand the best course of action.
Once we have the updated 1099s, we will hand-deliver them to each member at their work area. If a member is not onsite or cannot access the worksite, we will mail them to their home.
